Oh man, I've been supportive to the point I wanted to throw myself out the window. The first few months the first time, I encouraged him to go to school, etc, and he did. Trust me, I know I'm not perfect, but he has taken advantage of my niceties for too long.
I do think he's clinically depressed.

Some people you can't help them. I tried to help a friend in 2007 and
realized that some people are absolutely lazy and depressed... definitely need medical treatment.......hope god will help u the situation, some time people can really take advantage of others by being so lazy......irresponsibility.

just a suggestion-- instead of telling him to find a job, tell him you're there to support him and he's your man. Encourage him and let him air all his frustrations.
