What do I do on Staurdays that are special to me??? Well it's only recently that I've had more spare time on Saturdays, so what ever I find to do on a Saturday now is very special to me. Take Care Justi & continue to enjoy that retirement.

Oh, how I enjoy Saturdays! I love lazing around in comfy clothes, writing, reading, or watching a light-hearted movie. A do a little housekeeping but for the most part I save those kind of chores for the week days. And although I too enjoy to cook, Saturdays is cook's night off. It will be pizza in this household this evening...

Saturday is my run around day...and today we are getting a big storm so it doesn't look like I will be doing much running...lol

Saturdays
Saturdays are USUALLY cleaning days in my house but, today NOT SO MUCH. No one here but me and I'm not doing it all by myself.......so I decided to take a SNOW DAY.

Monday I am taking the day off....Wait a minute!.....I'm retired...Got's to clean the house today...oops and tommorrow and Monday...wait a minute.. I clean house every day..well a little bit.. pressing sheets with my inert body counts, right? LOL

I usually have my grandchildren here. They light up my life. We too are retired and live on a budget, but there's nothing we need except to heat and eat, so we're happy with that. I too thank God everyday that we can and to just enjoy each other.
As I've said many times, God knew what he was doing when he gave me my husband. He takes very good care of me and is glad to do what I can't so I've got a good life (definitely not we had planned for our retirement, but a good life). I am able to do what he doesn't like to do so that's a good thing (i.e., cooking, laundry, and able to shower and dress myself). It works out. Through all the misfortune, we have good fortune. The grandchildren keep us young and we'll get them every chance we can. They're wonderful!
