Expanding on your checkout lane rant......
So I was in the grocery store today. All I needed were two things. The place was packed. To their benefit, they did open up ALL the checkout lanes. In fact, I'm not complaining about the store at all here.
The CUSTOMERS were what pissed me off today!
See, I got into one of the 8 items or less lanes. I glanced at the woman in front of me...she had a shopping cart FULL of groceries.
Rather than say anything, I switched to the other lane for people with a few items.
At that point, my bf called me. I told him where I was and mentioned that I hated people who couldn't count. Then I noticed the tiny girl in front of my suddenly start counting the items in her basket.
Soon, my line was up to the cashier. The girl in front of my started loading her items onto the belt.
Wouldn't you know it, she had more than 8 items!!! The little bitch heard me ranting, counted her items, and still stayed in the line!!! I wanted to drop-kick her sorry little ass out of that line!
Then there was the couple in line behind me! The girl was carrying everything while her partner stood there and cracked the STUPIDEST jokes ever.
At one point, the girl dropped something, and rather than help his woman out, the guy just laughed at her and teased her.
The only thing that made me feel halfway decent about that situation was that when they got up to the cashier, the girl stepped out of line and made the guy pay for everything.
BAH HUMBUG!

FactorF, you're forgiven since you
at least move over to the side. See, some idiots stand there and their friggin luggage is all over the walkway, thus blocking others WALKING from passing them. K, so more importantly, what's this about "while you still can?" You goin' somewhere? What's up?

Heeeeyy...
I am one of those moving walkway riders! But, I do stay to the side to allow those in a hurry to do their walking. It provides a rest for me sometimes.
Can't complain about the other stuff though. For example sometimes I see someone wearing something horrible and it traumatizes me for days.
I am just checking in on a few people while I still can!

Hi Ginnieb!!
I've missed you! Yes, I hear ya on that comment. I don't know why people are that way. What are they thinking??!! The thing that pisses me off the most is okay, so they just stand there...but MUST THEY LAY THEIR LUGGAGE DOWN NEXT TO THEM TOO?? It creates this barrier where you can't get past them even if you wanted to!! I just say excuse me and if they ignore me or look at me weird, I start kicking their bags while stating, "MOVING WALKway!!" Seriously. I do.

Re: Spitfire, Why....
TAPS, I don't know why they always do that at the supermarket!! I think they do it on purpose and watch all of us short people struggle to reach on thier hidden cameras. LOL Oh, and those moving walkways rule but obviously some folks just think it's for a free "take it easy and relax" ride! Aaaarrrgghh!!

Sam444,
K, so this is pretty trippy in a way....I may be in your head! But I also found out that you're a Quaker and so was my mother-in-law. Also, I love the movie Fried Green Tomatoes and just saw it on tv tonight. hehe. Anyway, thanks for reading and nice to "meet" you!

Hi Spitfire!
Long time no see! And if you try to pass the people who are lounging on the walking walks they look at you like you are the one who is doing something wrong! Excuuuuuse Me!

Spitfire, Why....
do they always put the large size of the cat food brand that I want on the top shelf where I can't reach it. And I'm laughing at the moving walkways, HAHAHAHA, people just stand still all over the thing and you can't get by them. If you try to walk, they look at you like you are an idiot and don't know you can ride.
