Yes

I would raise my children with someone who doesn't share my religion.  I feel, as do you, that it should be up to the child to choose his or her own faith and not have the faith of his/her parents shoved down his/her throat.

My mother was raised Catholic (and I was baptized as such).  My father is an agnostic.  Neither one tried to get me to believe what they each individually believed.  In fact, I've probably gone to more Buddhist temples than any of the various types of Christian churches combined.  I do not, however, consider myself a Buddhist.
