azur, azur, azur.....MWAH and xxx and ooo and all that.

This rogue Abuelita never has been attacked, really, except once by the Mighty Holy Warrior and I made him love me right after that.

All back room decisions make me insane. Like hidden prisons and no habeas corpus, Blogit seems like Big Brother and I always feel like little sister, but, I suppose that I am the most non-controversial old woman in this place.

May all go well eternally for you, forever and ever, amen.

Azur, you've probably read my recurrent spouts about this stuff .

Having been entangled in a similar situation on Blogit once, but not as the victim, I saw how genuinely upset the person was who was selling snakeoil through his or her posts because he/she truly beleived in this dangerous stuff, did not see a problem posting links to sales sites so he/she could share its benefits and make a little money, and when I challenged this he/she felt that I was persecuting him/her. But, in that case, I felt personally and professonally bound to see it through, and the blogger (I believe) quit.

I have exchanged emails with the ringmasters long ago about the ejection policy. They insist on keeping the details private because of privacy issues and the everhanging question about who's wrong and who's right.

I favor a rogue's gallery.

How are you doing Azur??

posted by ginnieb on November 27, 2007 at 9:07 PM | link to this | reply

You are not alone, Azur. Even us newer members are finding it difficult

to continue writing here.  I enjoy the simplicity, interactivity and slight (VERY slight) profit.  I do not enjoy being attacked, accused or insulted and then being told to get used to it, that it's how things are around here.

People always have the power of controlling themselves; amazing how seldom a number of users on this site bother to exercise that power.

Azur

D told me he got booted, and I was sorry to hear it.  In general, it really isn't the same here, anymore.  Maybe it's simply time for a turnover of writers.  Out with the old, in with the new...  until things go sour for them, as well.  I dunno.  Pat mentioned Livejournal.  That is a nice place.  Not as integrated, and... vivacious as it is here, but you don't seem to have the wars and rebellions and the click-cliques and the subterfuge...  just a place where people go to write and read, and that's that.  if you make a move, please don't leave me out of the loop.  Let me know...

Warmth and hugs,

P.S.
And, of course, I love your writing.

I had no idea,
(as usual), that this happened.  I found his posts to be interesting, researched, referenced, and his topics unique, however, to be so interesting is risky.  Not that I was interesting for my writing, but for other reasons, and people single you out.  Actually, I've read Confuscious wasn't well liked either so tell him he's not in bad company.  Take care

Azur

I get a buzz every time you leave a comment on one of my posts, Azur.  The fact that you, a professional writer, likes to read my writing is, to me, quite amazing.   I don't want you to go for purely selfish reasons - OK?

I don't know how to take .D****'s ejection.   I've worked in some places where the fear that you were going to be next out in your ear made me physically sick.   I've worked in other firms were the staff and supposed to be friends have worked to get me fired.  At one firm I left after being accused of stealing a lot of money (which is presumably why I'm broke).   I know where the accusation came from and why, but I dare not and never will explain it to anybody.  I also suppose that is why I worked for myself for the last 25 years of my working life.  I like aloneness.

So I suppose that I'm one of the Blogit members who try to play down .D's leaving.   If the time comes when Blogit wants me out or some member starts a campaign against me, I'll be out so fast you will see nothing but sparks.

Blogit broke my heart long ago, azur, so I just stroll by periodically

and hardly even read anymore, favorites only....sorrowful Blogit.

They are not Salon, they are not similar to other sites and, well, does it matter?

Their fees are high for newcomers and they just seem to exist now. No shine, no joyousness, no family feel. Just bizness as so much in this country now, jes bizness.

But, my opinion comes from engaging too little in the community anymore, and so I find less here....I suppose that if I were to mine for new ore, I would find it.

About your health, this means that you might be able to get back, get back, get back to where you once belonged??

Pain without definition is difficult to embrace, but I hug it close and investigate it more myself, as it is my pain and only I can sketch its parameters....quirks, adjectives.

May you pinpoint it yourself someday sooner rather than later and may it be a managable fix.....

The good news, it was nothing Huge and Picturesque.

I think you are a wonderful writer and I read you more than I comment. I hope you decide to stay.

Oh yes. Transient and unidentifiable pain for me
is sometimes caused by allergies, sometimes by the lack of a needed component in my diet, sometimes by lack of exercise....

I was here and I read two entries but I'm too sleepy right now to comment.
Sorry.

I'll be sad to see you go . . . but
If you feel you must, then, by all means, follow your gut.  I don't know the whole (or even a small part of the) story behind his leaving, but from what I have read of him, I am sure I would think his banning unjustified.

So you be true to yourself and your heart.

For someone who can't write here, you've stated your case very clearly...
Good news on the medical front -- at least to know they found nothing, and no real explanation for the transient pain. What a marvelous and wicked construct the body is.  There's another place for blogging -- my son told me about it -- called livejournal. I agree with you about the mood here, the shrinking favorites list, etc. But you've been such a good writing buddy -- we cannot lose touch. We need good critics to keep the work flowing.

It's frustrating when they can't explain it isnt it. I'm going through something similar. Take care of yourself!!

Azur
I would laugh at the Orchestrated Conspiracy Theory, but hilarious as it is, it leaves me cold.   I will not leave this place until I am good and ready to do so, but I will leave certain blogs.  They don't need me reading them.

Oh don't leave Azur....
...not when I just come back!  Seriously..I'd really hate to see you go...you are one of the one I really missed while I was away. You are instrumental in helping me become a better writer!

Happy to hear that your tests came back clear!  I'm sure it's always a worry for you.  Now get strong again and I so want to read your posts!!  How are you doing work-wise...I am so behind!!
