Re: Comment on Commandment No.9

I omitted some critical lines.  "...dungeon, but sustained and soothed by an unfaltering trust approach thy grave like someone who draws the drapery of  his couch about him...

Sorry about the memorization, ibut processing and retaining ain't what it used to be.j

Comment on Commandment No.9

Why run from the ievitable?  Once again I find a poet, William Cullen Bryan, whose opening lines are: "So live, that when thy summons comes to join that great calvacade to the silent halls of death, goest thou not like a quarry slave scourged and beaten to his dungeon. But approach it as one who draws the drapery of his couch about him, then lies down to pleasant dreams."

Bryan was only 17 years old when he wrote THANATOPIS.   joab

Katz, I am fourty two, I am afraid of being away from this world where my

children are still depended on me or him......

So I afraid of death, my desires to live in this world is so strong, so I won't like to die now.......But if heaven choose me, I am ready to go......

So death or live long is not in my hand, but my lord knows the best....

Thinking of death now will hurts me, because I want Vish and Kar to be so big and old with wife and kids....
