Good to hear from you Jemmie211.  I think what we need is a family and friends day instead, so we are at least able to see each other once a year...too many are leaving us so young and it is important to connect.

My coworkers love Christmas.  I loathe what it has become.  The true meaning of the day has been lost to all the stupid commercialism! Excellent post!

I totally agree, barbiej. What an antiquated, commercialized, ridiculously
fraudulent day, both in its false history and in its manufactured good cheer... My manufactured good cheer reads Jim Beam on the bottle... (You know, I like this one.  I think I'll post it...)
