IMO, our bodies become the doorway for the soul's exit, after "its" passing through this realm. As John Donne wrote" Death, be not so proud. Though some have called thee mighty and dreadful . . . for thou art not so. And soonest our best to thee doth go, rest of their souls, and bones delivery..." There's more, but it is worth reading. joab

IMO and for what it's worth, after a certain "point" in our existence, and in the aftermath of certain experiences, forgiveness is set on auto-pilot. joab
