Yes, Katzs.  I have to agree with your philosophy...and case studies!  I began university at 40 and am still studying.  I got to go overseas and teach in a 3rd world country, travel with my daughter around Australia in a small hatch, re-found my soul mate, watched my siblings and friends become ill from overwork and trying to build a nest egg, and realised Dad was right to live for the moment and not have savings...his greatest legacy.
