I'm happy this one got a giggle out of you.  I'm just sorry it took me so long to tell you so.  Hopefully I'm back on a more regular basisi, although I don't know if there is any more non-poetry in my immedate future.  Maybe you should start editing our collected works until the non-muse strikes me again.

That's why I often refer to Columbus Day as a bogus holiday.  It doesn't look like the Vikings were first, either.  There is evidence favoring much earlier discovery by Polynesians, Orientals, and possibly even early Russians.  Our so-called Native Americans may actually be a mix of explorers from the Pacific side of the country rather than the Atlantic.  That would tickle me to no end, since my heritage is already a hodgepodge of European and Native American (Chippewa and probably Cherokee).
