- Go to Fire, fire, burning so bright; the great fire of ‘07, part III
Thanks, Pat_B
Dealing with the 9-1-1 operator was the most disturbing part of the situation at the time. If it had not been for the necessity to get back to fighting the fire I'm afraid I might have been a little rude. And yes, I survived without any serious damage to self or property, though there are consequences I'll get around to down the line.

Hi, TAPS.
At the time I had no awareness of what should be done. I just reacted as best I could to the situation. I suppose the subconscious takes over in situations like this if we allow it to.

The emergency operator dialog -- excellent! The rest is great, but
the apparent hole-in-the-head questions take the prize! I'm assuming a happy ending, since you're alive on Blogit to tell the tale... :)

Goodness. Just getting caught up with your firefighting episodes. Sounds like you knew what to do.
