- Go to Hillary has no plan for Social Security
Re:
There is no plan in general for social security, and it has nothing to do with parties. Besides, social security is the very least of our troubles as far as I can tell- since who can expect any of us to live long enough to collect it anyway. In reality, who has all the solutions? No party can, or ever will!
The American public needs to wake the fuck up and understand that this may be one of the most important elections in history. We have a lot of crap to work out and we must wedge our country into the global markets lest we become a 3rd world government!
Hillary can not even walk away from some dick head that cheated on her in front of the entire world! How the hell is she going to wedge me into the global market?
She is boxed in by what people think and think they think and want- I want and need something more than that crap this time around from Washington-
Move out of DC and let from fresh meat move in- get rid of all those freaks who have been there all their lives lying for a living for us- because that is what we want them to do-
I am not down for that- and I am ready for some real change in America-
I hope we get some good leadership soon!

The problem here is a confusion between the sound warnings of Bill Clinton and the deceptive alarmism of right-wingers who never liked the idea of Social Security and seek to instill the belief that a public pension system is inherently unsustainable. I think Hillary Clinton means to attack the latter group. Often, warnings of Social Security's problems are an underhanded attempt to justify privatization, a policy the people, by and large, do not favor. Hillary Clinton knows we need to make painful changes to save Social Security, but she also knows there are those who would inflict all the pain on those who can least afford it.
