Militarily, we seem to be doing rather well... again. So, something tells
me that it isn't a military problem, Wavy.  How many generals and state department officials and retired government officials and experts and analysts is it going to take to get it through to them that without a sound, credible, legitimate political system, all of it is for nothing?

SaulRelative: If you try something in your personal or professional life and it doesn't work, you try something else if you have a reasonable amount of intelligence.  We have been in Iraq since March of 2003.  Haven't we given ourselves and the Iraqis enough time?

It's just like a superhero movie that just bombed at the BO, and the studio decides to go with a sequel with a larger budget.  Shooting themselves on the foot, that is.
