Thanks for the suggestion about the Good Feet store. I think there is one nearby. Thanks also for your comments about my firefighting exploits. Installment two was delayed by work requirements today, but should be here sometime tomorrow.

Happy coincidence, indeed! Joyful moment when all the dancing
flames turned to crumbling ash! And you're alive to embroider the details into wild farce! As for the heel pain - which I know is debilitating and miserable - is there a Good Feet store around there? or a podiatrist? where you can get professional level orthotics to restore function? And the sooner you can get heel protectors & arch support, the less time your muscles will have to fade... Waiting for the next installment. :)

I can't express how happy I am to be hearing from you again after just discovering your own recent adventure while I was playing catchup with your blog. I hope your road to complete recovery is rapid and that we will enjoy reading each other for years to come.
