Hi, Lindo. Thanks for your thoughtful comment on my blog...
I responded to your comment - something about moms having to be persons of two minds, with our own development bumping against our fervent goals for our children. The good news is we can do it.
At Seattle Central I worked with a Muslim woman who observed the fasts, etc. She was Filipena by birth, converted in her teens. Annie taught me a lot about the world and how other people and cultures live their lives. Your writing reminds me of her. Thanks for helping to keep me in tune... :)Pat
