yes,its a difficult question. From a Christian point of view, only God has
the right to determine end of life.  We understand that suffering and pain are a normal part of the human journey.  And the pain of watching loved ones in pain is part of our human growth and development.  I work in a resthome, the hospital section where everyone there is bedridden, unable to care for themselves, completely dependant, unable to talk etc.  At first I questioned the quality of life for these people but since getting to know them, loving them, cherishing them,I understand their value.  That their lives have value even though I dont know what its like to walk in their shoes.  There have been none there who want euthanasia, but then from what Ive figured they are all Christians.  it is a difficult question.

Precisely the confusion resulting in not taking a decision, which ultimately ends up meaning the decision taken to let her suffer. This sure can be mind boggling.

euthanasia or no euthanasia
Good question. My doctor knows to take no "heroic" measures to save me, should I be suffering.  As for "pulling the plug" to end my life...others will have to deal with that issue.  This is such a sticky issue of "playing" God as some have said.  Me...I'm not too willing to let a loved one suffer. . .; nor can I bear the thought of "losing" them in this world.  Such a decision is a blade that cuts either way, don't you think? j
