afzal, i guess it depends on the person, some young people have more
common sense than older people, some young people live in terror, some old people are fearless, some young are more forgetful than the old, some old people fight growing old, some young people wish they were old. i guess it just depends on who you are.

Some good popints; it struck me that OLDER folks used to enjoy seniority
until recently in the East (and maybe until the baby boom generation in the USA). Sad facts of life. Still....we can learn from young and old. Then again, it doesn't hurt if individuals like us try to be "kind" to older people we meet. They may be senile, but deserve human dignity

It doesn't have to be that way, sweetie. Always stay positive.
Old Age can bring peace and serenity under the right circumstances. And we are never too old to fantasize and dream. 
If we did not err, we would not be human. We would not grow and learn. Life is not bad, but the most blessed experience that we are allowed to experience.
In our natural state, we are but a spirit of love. In this human life, we get to stive to achieve that love, and it is a blissful experience.
