Yes we have had some good writers on here just go poof and outta here. We had a good and prolific writer named Presley and one day she was not here anymore. Lots of them I really miss but she only stayed a little while and became really popular and flew the coop.

I read a post the other day about all of the people who have left and wondered the same things. Some gave word that they were leaving, but I guess (from what I read) that some have just vanished.

We all need to leave an e mail address with some one to send to someone on Blogit if we are taking a leave of some sort that we can't blog. She could not send an e mail than to Maggie just as Offy let us know about Maggie Mae.

Yes here one day and gone the next can be shocking in any circumstance. Some people e mail with a lot of others but don't have anyone who does it for them. Yes we all have lost a pet and never stop missing them.

Makes sense, I was totally shocked about Sally, she seemed to be the picture of health, unless she has had the problem before, if so I didnt know about it. Its hard to let those of you know about us unless we get sick and send a email to someone, we know cares

I completely understand your feelings, so well expressed. I guess the only answer is that the fact we probably wouldn't know is the price we pay for the freedom to be so open....to strangers......and make friends that may know at least parts of us better than those who would be by our bedsides. It reminds me of how I've always felt about loving pets....their shorter lifespans and the almost certainty that our hearts will break over them someday, is the price we pay for all the sweetness they bring to our lives while we have them....and the trade-off is worth it. (And I know that Offy would laugh at the slightest hint of comparing her to a pet.......I am talking about Blogit in general.......but, hmmm, what do you think....a Yorkie?!)
