Indeed to each his own...why transgress the sovereignty of another country?
And more specifically the sovereignty of its people?

Nice post.....but, I fear, very idealistic instead of realistic....TAPS and Justi made comments I agree with....like it or not, we now live in a global community, and isolationism is not possible.....of course, when we (the US) were that way, we were criticized for that, and still are in terms of mental attitudes.  We have borders that are crossed....and the larger governent has to protect the soverignty of the entire country, not just the oppressed or pained....too few stop to consider why there has yet to be (not saying there won't be) another 9/11....do they really think such fanatics planned to only strike once, and then go away?  I think it is because of actions taken, none of which can be enough to protect completely against determined evil....but, just my opinion.

It was only a wanna be world leader that flew airplanes into our buildings and killed 3,000. or into the building years before hurting people, or blowing up our airplanes with tourists on them those are the people you should talk with their staying out of other people's countries would allow us to stay home and take care of our own.

Interesting thoughts.  All I know for sure, is that it is much easier to notice when a world leader is making mistakes than it is to note good things that he/she does.

Your opinion is well expressed!  Don't get me started!  Too late.  Now I'm thinking of all the things I'd like to say but won't because once I get started...AmMused

afzal...

They're only interested in other societies' affairs when they have something to profit from it ... I don't think it's because they're worried with the society... if they were there would probably be less hunger (for ex:) in this world!

Good post
