I'm with Troosha on this one.
When your friend finishes their book, they can call it whatever they want.

I think a title has to come from deep within - not from a friend's suggestion nor should you allow people to influence what your inner voice is telling you.  Personally, I quite liked La Fleur.  Eventually you will settle on a title that you feel reflects the core of your story.

the name

Call your book what it feels like:

its "more like Bridget Jones"  you claim- so then call it :

  1. Not Bridget, Just Me
  2. Diary of Someone besides Bridget Jones
  3. The diary of a person less famous than Bridget Jones
  4. Bridget move over- here is my story
  5. Bidge between my life and you Not Bridget Just me
  6. Do you like B.J.'s then read me!
  7. Not a B.J. diary, but better that the last BJ I had?- (a story)

To thank me you can feel to edit anything on my blog -

best,

Tammie Anderson
