Chyrlann, Some people have the ability to change their physical forms. We have legends that say so. They can change their looks, color, hair.... they can change everything! They can be male or female, though I have seen mostly females do this. David Icke calls them Shapeshifters and reptilians. The first one I encountered one day standing with her family. I knew it was her, but she had no upper body features. All I saw was a mist where the upper upper body should be. I saw her many times with different looks, heights, and girths. Last year, I met one in Home Depot. She could more or less the same thing. They were beautiful 'traps' sent to entrap and destroy me, even kill me. The first one caused my teaching career to end. This one ended my career at Home Depot. They will do the time for their crimes!

Good evening sir, just stopping by to read. I keep reading and am still
confused. Would you mind explaining what a shape-shifter is and who the Evil ones are? I know what evil is and have known many evil people and have seen shape-shifters on the Sci-Fic channel on TV, but I don't want to assume anything, so would you mind explaining.....please? Thank you.

Re: Brianne.....
I have come across Wayne Dyer but not the other! I am sceptical of these people who claim 'converations'. My view is that the BOSS tells you not converses with you. And I like that arrangement!

have you

ever read Dr. Wayne Dyer, or Neale Donald Walsh's Conversations with God series?

Just curious

Re:Twomany
Poetic licence is granted to writers so, in the practice of their art, they cannot be litigated against. Meaning you can write what you bloody want without fear of persecution. In the real world...it is different. If the forces that be don't like you...they chop you down...one way or another! Thanks bro!

Re:Decshak
No-one is willingly pessimistic. The field, correctly assayed, is not to be pessimist but to be real. Jobs leaving and new labor coming in, for instance, the job market is saturated! All I can do is hope for that job to pay my bills! Is pessimistic the opposite of being positive? If all the money spent on wars were to be re-directed to fuel this country's shortcomings, we would all be better off!

Re: A-and-B
Whenever the society adopts a mantra like..Be Positive... I fear it is up to no good! And it may be evil's instruction to their own.....Go ahead...you can sign her! I have never adopted this saying, and I still move onwards with the old-time qualities!

positive thinking is a great way to start the day...
....but it is not what makes things happen.desire , determination, good ole fashioned true grit and sticktuitiveness and being relentless in pursuit of your goals.getting dirty and sweaty to get what you want is more readily achieved when thinking positive and it does have a good effect on those around you.BUT IT IS NOT THE ANSWER TO ANYONES PROBLEMS or GOALS.
One other thing, the comment about poetic license, clarify please.
thank you,
if you get a chance go read "Work comp nightmare" in"Where the Hell is Heaven".I know the reality of how bad that can be.

Pessimism can kill, or at least, freeze one into doing nothing. Pessimism
is self-defeating.

I read Carnegie's books too. Some are practical, others are not.

Re: Troosha
I have   been told hundreds of times since the games for the first shape-shifter began in the 1980's to be positive.  What evil was doing was feeding the evil entity in me with energy and programming it while invalidating me. It had so much life that to survive I had to practically leave my body to it and become compressed in the head. THey said they sent me up, to sleep. I am a very aware person, and  by watching the EE and it's tricks, I was able to prevent a potential coup. I had to have techniques to fight back. I developed these, fought back and I am winning.Positive had no role to play here. True grit did! Intelligence did! Intuition did! Other natural qualities of soul did. I had to have a void consciousness to detect evil's attacks ...outside and within , and defend. It was a matter of life and death.  I didn't know concretely what be positive meant. I knew Good and evil. If being pos/neg is supposed to replace those as significators of people, then I want no part of it! I will go with the tried and true. Meanwhile, if it helps you... fine! Thanks!

Soul

I don’t think positive philosophy necessarily means we disregard or dismiss the negative but rather acknowledge the negative forces and rise above them. Nor do I think it endorses sitting back and “wishing” for that new job, or winning a million dollars. In my understanding of positive thinking it means emanating positive thought and feeling thereby enriching the responses of the Universe or the people around us. Further, it doesn’t mean tip toeing around human suffering. Maybe positive thinking summons within us positive reaction to change, help, or become involved.

Re: Le Divorce
The word does have a certain impact on you. But it's meaning, which is self-obvious to it's practitioners, is rather fuzzy. You can hardly answer back when someone tells you 'be positive'. if you ask its practioners 'what do you mean'? Then they each give you their different understandings. This word follows the tradition of Confucius...... another 'vacuum' offering! Thanks!

How very interesting
You would think that it would be a good teaching but it does seem to ignore reality.

Re: Fineyoung........
Positivism is not a naturally occuring quality of the soul like patience, determination or hope. It appeared in the literature at a time when various disciplines were including 'objectivity', statistics, and 'scientific methods' in their approaches. Thinkers did put down objectivity. Darryl Huff put down statistics,in his own way, when he wrote....Lies, damned lies and statistics. Psychology and Psychiatry which pretend to study behavior, do so in a vaccum, making invalid assertions and assumptions. Yet, there is a new breed of behavioral scientist...... those who question those assumptions and offer something  more real than was there before! Are Corporations successes to be explained by their being positive, or by their being greedy? I like your approach, fineyoung......, we have this in common! Thanks

Re: Mariaki
In response to being or feeling 'down', we countered with courage, determination and persistence in a reality that we understood. With 'positivism' the treatment has changed in that all we do is throw a mental switch to alter our feeling, but does nothing to gear you up for the real battle ahead. We examine the problem and methodically work out the solution. And we try and try. And 'positivism', that alleged super-quality has no role in our doing! Thanks!

Good Essay.
While positive thinking does have merit, it is, I believe, far more productive to approach things realistically, uncovering limitations and from there through improvement and whatever practice or labor is required achieve what is probable.  It's fun to dream, but more fun to reach goals.

Positive thinking alone is not enough what counts is the feelings and
emotions we have that make it work for some people - an interesting view point though
