I don't think they will ever be in the price range of so many in the world. So many in the world can get a mock up and feel just as great about it. Those people have placed a different value on the diamonds.

Yikes! I'm heading for some very dark chocolate.
As for diamonds -- blood or otherwise -- I've read they would be a glut on the market, but the traders and dealers hang onto them to keep the value up. Which would be really tacky if diamonds could be eaten or used as fuel.
