Hi, Tony
I'm glad you think I'm so heroic.  It just confirms what I've thought all along.  When you decide to tackle longer forms of poetry, you have my permission to make me the hero of your first epic poem.

Hi, Decshak
Thanks for the tip.  It's one I plan to follow when I can afford it.  Alas, I fear I also need to replace my five-year-old laptop.  It seems that as soon as I fix one problem, another crops up.  Then, on down the line, they all start popping up again.  I'm afraid I'll have to struggle along with present circumstances till after the first of the year.

Hello. Ain't computers a b---- sometimes? And of course it is not always
their fault, say, when a tree fell on a powerline during a recent storm our computer fried.... I sprang for a top-of-the-line surge protector that could handle our cable modem, too, plus it has a 20-minute battery built-in....

RaeS
I'll have to look up the exact quote myself, even though I've always considered it among my favorites.  I don't know how well my plan will work out -- I haven't had much luck lately.  But it feels good to be back, even if it will be on a limited basis for several days at least.  Thanks a bunch for stopping by.
