I think my assessments are pretty good, too. But I'm probably a little too close to the action to be a reliable judge. It's pleasing when someone else thinks so.

If it turns out that either of the stories I filed this morning make the Sunday paper I'll post the link tomorrow. I hope you won't be too disappointed. Although I'm a pretty damned good sports writer, it's not exactly one of the higher art forms.

I'd like to think you are correct in your assessment. Only time will tell whether I have any staying power or not. I tend to doubt it since I enjoy playing games with my posts too much.
