Thank you for reminding me that the Animals consisted of more talent than Burdon's fabulous voice. One can't help but wonder how great the group could have been if all that talent had been able to work together for more than a few brief years. But I suppose we can say the same about the Beatles.

Eric Burdon, yes, not forgotten but as you say, a wasted talent.
Alan Price continued to be successful well into the seventies. He could sing well too. Just goes to show what was lost when the Animals split. Chas Chandler had a lot of success too, as a manager.
