It is a sad state of affairs everywhere, my love.

Try not to focus on the negative, but the positive, that has the power to make positive changes in the world.

(Hugs, kisses, love, squeezes, smiles, happiness)

India celebrates60th year of Independence
Widely distributed poverty for many, and concentrated wealth for the few -- the sure signs of "civilized progress".    joab

WileyJohn,

Things are not that good as the leaders paint the picture . The wealth remains concentrated in the hands of the few big business houses and families . Mother Teresa did half of their work and the leaders brag about their achievement around the world .Thanks!

That is very sad, but from what I see, I think your country is on a long march towards a better life after centuries of poverty. Don't you think so my friend?..........
