Re: afzal - Wonderful post about EX_TURPI. Wish he'd explain his screen

Foliage:

ex turpi causa non oritur actio is a doctrine of civil law. It is of latin origin and means roughly, " A dishonorable cause does not give rise to action." Sometime ago, in a prior occupation, that  doctrine was often invoked. As you have deduced, my name just uses the first two words of the phrase. Have I explained satisfactorily? I hope so.

Thanks for asking.

By the way, I enjoy your posts immensely.

Stay well; walk good my friend.

MY DAY TODAY....

Afzal: Thanks very much. Your testimonial says more than I ever thought. I hope I will not disappoint. There is still a question of who Shakespeare was. That has not made him and his writings less revered. I hope I can continue to improve on what you now perceive and share with the rest of the world. Oh, I wish I could be as good as Shakespeare, as Milton, as Keats, as Kipling, as Dickens; and on and on.

Because of the sensitivity of my business operations and the requirement for independence in my professional relationships, I have not said much about who I am and what I do. Let me say, however, it has nothing to do with the Intelligence Services. So I ask all bloggers to be generous in their comments of whatever I write. It improves my knowledge and appreciation. Yet there are some things I will reveal.

I live in New York City, United States of America. Like Alexander Hamilton, the first Treasury Secretary of the United States, I was born in the Caribbean. Yes, I am a reggae and  a calypso nut.  I have an extensive library at home. I read anything that can be read. Some of the memorable quotations of my life come from pieces of paper I picked up off the streets. When I address teenagers. I implore them  NOT  to pass a scrap of paper on the street. It may introduce them to any of the great masters in the literature.

Yes, one day I will complete that page so everyone may know who I am. This much is true, I am male, divorced. But until then, I will continue to blog. For:

[Writing] is the expression of the soul, what it is, what it has ever been, and what it shall ever be.

Stay well: walk good my friend.

Afzal, Thanks again.

Afzal
I enjoy reading your posts about other bloggers.  I assume that on this one, you do not know whether he/she is male or female since you repeated EX TURPI twenty times in the short space.  LOL
