TAPS.
Seat belts are good and wearing them is even better. I used to never buckle up when it was still optional. One night I just had this strange impulse to strap in with the lap belt I occasionally used and the shoulder harness that I never used. That night on the way to my third shift job I had an accident that I might not have survived if not for the seat belts. It made a believer out of me. I've been promoting seat belt use ever since.

Reminds me of the time I was out driving at 2:00 a.m. on a Saturday night and ran into one of those sobriety checkpoints. Without a worry because I had been drinking "gallons" of coffee, I waited my turn with an officer. When he finally got to me. I smuggly answered his question with, "only coffee sir" whereon he asked, "...and, do you always drive without a seat belt?" I burst out laughing and gave an honest "yes" because I had plenty of time to fasten it while I was waiting and it didn't even enter my mind. That was my first ticket for no seat belt. After the second one which was about ten times more expensive, I forced myself to get into the habit.
