I must try that trick with my thesis work - when I think, I stop too. And then I started a potential article just banging out everything I wanted to put together and did 2800 words in a couple of days. I realise this is very inconsistent :) Sigh.

Some of my most interesting stuff comes when I just let my fingers do the writing, picking and choosing from the words and images in the lower drawers of my mind's filing cabinet -- that place where dreams come from.
