I used to live in England... but not London, the south coast. I miss it often, and there are good days and bad. My biggest regret is the children growing up without a big family around them. PS, both Harry Potter and the owl are doing well :)

mneme, you're close to sainthood!...you're son owes you a BIG one! Actually
like you, I rather enjoy standing/waiting in line. I always find someone to talk with, but if nobody is feeling chatty I people-watch, a favorite pastime. I really enjoyed reading this "day in the life" account...really well written.

mneme, I'm afraid I would never let my child sucker me into standing in
line for Harry Potter. No way. I'm glad you had a good time doing it though. You're a good mom!
