OMG Jolie...Of all the balls!  That guy would be damned grateful he hadn't said that to me, let me tell you!  I'm glad you speak up for yourself so freely.

Glad you got some meds for that head pain of yours.  I'm thinking of you...

Good for you for being such a strong advocate for your own
health care and asking questions until you are satisfied.

Hi Lady
You tell them. They are not the ones with the problem, you are. That is what my husband tells me and I go there and say well duh! Take some real time off when you stop work. Resting up a bit may help how you feel a bit. Thinking of you. I have missed you. Took a rest myself.

Jolie...

I'm glad you are sharing these things with us.  It helps me especially because my sister was just diagnosed with relapse/remitting...whatever and she will be doing the injection thing too.  I didn't know the injections will make her feel bad though.

Congratulations on your 5 more days.

Powder_Jolez
Once in a while doctors can say such asinine things (and I'm not against doctors in general).  I'll never forget how angry my mom got when, to her very valid physical complaint litany, he asked, "How old are you?"   When she replied that she was 70, his response was, "Well, you've had a nice long life."   Guess what, we changed doctors for her.

As Bugs Bunny would say, What a maroon!
Count 'em down and go nuts. The hell with 'em!

Offy... I am already having short timers disease.
I'm used to dealing with docs in such a way. I tell them when they're assholes and just treat them like everyone else. They're just regular humans. I lost any illusions about them back when I was 18.

I hope it goes fast for you Powder...real fast!! Glad you were able to score on the pain relief but sad you had to be the doctor to the doctor...

IR... I'm right there with you!
It's like that Peter Griffin "Know what really grinds my gears" on the "Family Guy" lol. They either don't listen or just tune you out because they just know more than you. At least he did suggest the MS specialist, set it all up and is being pro-active to get things done. He only said the one really stupid thing. And once I busted him on it, he had the grace to apologize and rectify it.

Lustor... marijuana would probably only help
the pain. The rest would still be all down hill. Plus I'm not too sure how the smoking would affect my blood clotting issue. After all, smoking regular cigarettes is discouraged because it can cause clots, does marijuana do the same?

Powder, Why is it when you need a doctor's advice, they are willing to

give you whatever seems to pop into their mind? Number one this new Doc didn't even know you exept from your medical history. Number Two- Why hasn't anyone sent you to a MS specialist before? This is what gripes me about the medical profession. Not all doctors are bad. Some are on top of their medical game.

I don't want to sound like a wise ass, but why do I hear the term "Medical Practice" when relating to doctors. How about something a little more reassuring like "Medical Treatment Professional?"

Five days,Huh? May they go by quick.
