Too often people are sucked in by a party line, or some other useless criteria, instead of selecting leaders on ability without regard to party politics, race, creed, or any other useless yardstick. Fortunately, in our country we get a chance to correct some of our mistakes every two years (House of Representatives), four years (President and most Governors), and six years (Senators).
