Re: Sometimes a person that you never expect, Damon thank you
for sharing.....I've always wrote, I won a silly writing award in 7th grade, my only claim to fame. I still have it, I put down my pen and raised a family, but picked it up again recently, now I can't put it down.....and I never will.  I want to be published and I'm trying hard for that. Not for the fame or false glory but to leave a bit of me behind as a legacy for ones I love to visit when I'm no longer here. What beter tribute to a life then your words which can last forever? Thank you  Irish

Sometimes a person that you never expect to have any effect on your life ca

Sometimes a person that you never expect to have any effect on your life can change it completely.  I met someone in college that inspired me to write.  I went to college late in life; I started in 1999.  That is where I learned to write.  One of the teachers there--not a Comp teacher convinced me to continue writing after my Comp classes were over.  She convinced me to write a book about my life.

She really was an inspiration to me and changed my life completely.  My family and she have become good friends.
