Powerful work here Afzal, very hard hitting. I believe these people are fuelled by the world's negativity. If we were to adopt the stance of "silent witness" without judgement, the power of these movements would eventually dissapate. Also, on this subject, I believe terrorism is the macro but why doesn't anyone comment on the micro - ie) our own small lives...people all over the world are terrorists in their own homes, to loved ones, in their work places, towards strangers and so on and on and on... It's a bit like global warming, we have to sort out the micro in order to move the macro if you know what I mean. Anyways, thanks for the inspiration!

I think I have explained about the real big mind behind this game of terrorising and killing innocent people .I think the political unrest in the Arab world is the cause of this great rift and because the West is trying to support illegitimate monarchies the anger of the underdogs and the less privileged are directed towards the big powers to settle scores with those who are using the western countries to protect their kingdom . A man with a weapon aimed at me, tells me that I am not of his faith and therefore expendable. He doesn't know me; know of me; nothing of my history. His is the only history (religion) that matters. Is he an extremist or misguided? Religion is only a minor player in this territorial war. But it is being used as the "fuel" to propel this "mis-guidance" system that threatens not only the free world, but will, ultimately turn on itself in its own flaming fury.
Yes -- those people are extremists, and all true Muslims who proclaim peace and brotherhood have to stand up. There are many ways of "fighting"; but only one side is the correct one.
Now it's time for those Muslims to choose. Just as we are having to choose. joab
