Well, I think you already

know what I'm thinking.  I'm so sorry.  It's hard to "fix" people. Even if they have the same core beliefs, it can be impossible to maintain stability when one partner has the gravity of a black hole.

As long as your safe

Re: Thank you, Teddy, for reading when I am so absent!

Lady, I know a little of that rough road...if that groove never comes back, hey...Life is good with people like you in it! Try the Law thing again, woman...there must be some area you can beat the hell out of ...chin up, Red!

Thank you, Teddy, for reading when I am so absent!
I keep trying, but I can't get my Blogit groove back on.  Life and it's never-ending changes, you know about these, yes?  I'm glad you liked the poem, thanks so much for commenting.  xo

Temple, I know what you mean about "the tortured place".

Nice to see you passing through comments just now. Haven't read you for a while.

I'm getting a little worried, but then I also understand how and where much of your best stuff comes from.

rainy day
It's sad because I think many artists and writers do some of their best work from what I call "the tortured place" ... sad, angry, lost ... I know that is some of my best work.  Thanks for such a lovely comment, but the hurt behind the pen, as you said, will pass ... eventually. I'm glad you liked it though. :)  Happy will come at some point.

Okay, this is a note to ALL commenters...
I am trying to get back into the swing of this again, and just writing has been difficult.  The fact that I'm responding is nothing short of a miracle.  Please don't be offended if I don't stop by and read just yet.  I'm working my way back, and I appreciate your support and kind words more than you know.   Thank you!

this was my first read of the morning and it was such a sad one. Sometimes we write from such a dark place... It sounds like this was birthed in such origins.. I am sorry for the hurt behind the pen, but this is truly a beautiful piece...
