We live many lives in one life time.  I was speaking of this life time.  My past lives were pretty interesting too.  I'll have to post about it some day.

You are so right.  We actually don' seem to learn from our past experiecnes and keep repeating them - especially the negative ones. In the past life therapy I do, we believe that some of these patterns come from our previous lives (like other births) and under hynosis we create an environment so as to release them and put messages in the subconscious mind that you do differently in this current life.  It works rather well.  With the conscious mind we don't seem to be able to get across very well. But, in your case, just being aware of the pattern is the first step, alerting yourself when similar things happen, and letting the memories of the past go.  It's tough but it can be done. Cheers and thanks for sharing.

That is really a poignant story of a part of your life that is so very painful. I have found through reading you and another blogger today, reminding me that this journey of life we are on has so much pain. I can tell you as I identify with you, that aging brings us to wonderful places of peace suddenly, like my reading you today. You see, I say it often here, I have been sober 39+ years, and every once in a while the God of my understanding puts somebody right there to remind me to be grateful. You have done that for me today, I'll pray for you too, you're a good person serving others like me as you walk the walk, and write about it.............................................................
