This place sounds like pure chaos...
I don't understand how someone who needs help can be kicked out of the place that is supposed to be helping....Must be a rule, no drinking maybe. Either way the place sounds dreadful...I do my laundry at night too...

Isnt it lovely once you ve settled in,become used to others ,made friends
etc. you know you are healing when you start wanting to help newcomers. I will come back to catch up on missed posts. They are so interesting.

Yes I met a few that was playing the system too...but they never lasted.
.....yes the doors had to be locked by 11pm, but, nobody kept an eye on this - it was left up to us to lock it...staff are all gone by 6pm and not back until 8am....whether they sent people to watch the house from outside I would not know...but nobody ever came to check inside....but we did have phone numbers for emergency on-call.

Madam...
Eh I understand why you felt kind of bad for Cathy but as you well know the rules are very firmly given to you guys. I'm surprised they even let her out after a certain time. The places I was in had a curfew. You were not allowed to leave unless someone was watching your children either. Also, not everyone in those places are actually abused. Some are just using the system to get money and/or a cheap place to live without working. I've met a few that were just "working the system".
