Although I was never in a refuge...everything you said in that journal resonated off my own life. Hearing people speak likethe women you listened to makes you appreciate everything you have. Good on you for lending an ear to those ladies though

Another interesting entry that you have here! I am not trying to read them all nor read them in order, but the ones that I read are surely interesting. I feel not only for you and the other two ladies, but for all those that have to go through these things in their lives. My life has been intersting in some ways, but I haven't had to go through anything like this.
