when we were children we made fun, poked fun of and at others...made us feel large, tough , more important perhaps, than the one(s) being teased or belittled.
Seems to carry over into the adult stage of living with some...

Sad really; seems when a person is bitter and unhappy with themselves, trying to tear others down often occurs - and/or maybe a hard place inside that chafes and causes ill-temperament, jealousy..some thoughts. I feel bad for people like this, but I do not allow them to make me feel bad about myself/my writing.
