Re: Stonehenge Revisited
joab1,

When I said harsh I did not mean harsh seriously but was speaking lightly .

You are always welcome to comment as you wish .

Stonehenge Revisited

I need to be clear; and the following is doggerel.  So you see, no harshness, only humor, was involved.  joab

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

phantasy at 3 o'clock high

It was mid-afternoon on a summer's day

when the dragon landed in Venice Bay.

A handsome creature of iridescent hues

it capsized sailboats -- consumed their crews.

Using feet to paddle and tail to steer,

it propelled itself to Santa Monica Pier,

opened its mouth and with a hearty crunch,

added ten shocked tourists to its lunch.

Out came a hiccup and a fiery sneeze,

that scorched the tops of twenty palm trees,

then it rolled those coral eyes once more,

back toward Venice -- and me, on the shore.

Well, the waters boiled as it took to the air,

where it circled my head and hovered there,

snaked out its tongue as if to point, and with

a butane belch . . . re-ignited my joint.

I am a writer. A doggerel is a rhyming scheme with a certain metre.  Harsh, I was not...humor was my intent;  but if you don't want me to observe, I'll bypass your blog.  Don't be so sensitive.  joab
