Thanks Pelagus!
Why not imagine we have lived before? it brings dead people back alive again, even if only in our imagination!

Hi Saul: Yes, that is the sort of thing that we can have 'flashbacks' of,
whether simply imagined or somehow preserved from old times.

Intriguing, my friend. Don't know why, but images of Druids and
Stonehenge ran through my mind... Loved it.

Cheers DJA - dreams don't last long, but sometimes it feels like they're
movie-length! Other times they can last two seconds, like when we doze off momentarily during the day. I've even had those very short dreams when very tired and reading to my daughter!!!

Re: Sonnet 283
Tony,
I enjoyed this sonnet. It reminds me of dreams I remember on occasion. Unfortunately, they never last long enough.
Cheers,
dja

Tony - lol! Thought you were leaving.
They do survive in us as we bring them with us everywhere we go. Yes, a very interesting concept. Mind-boggling at times.

Hi Mary - yes, it makes you wonder, doesn't it?
OK, we may have imagined it, but then again, these things will have happened at some point in my ancestry, and those ancestors pretty much survive in me, don't they?

Tony - Oh my!
I love this! Our imaginations can go almost anywhere. Yet as you hint at; is it our imaginations or thoughts of those gone past us? I've always wondered what happens to knowlege when people die. Weird thought, I know. But, it's my imagination!
