Very sorry to hear this, Julia..
Hope and beginnings find many places to branch away; I believe when this happens it is more a turn toward our true destiny than an ending to journeys of the heart..I know the shock of realization can hurt however, especially when it is in your face unexpectedly...

We human are pretty strange when it comes to love. Even though, as you said, the relationship never fully evolved there was an ember of hopefulness. And when that ember is snuffed out by someone moving on or finding love elsewhere jealousy rears its ugly head. That green emotion is not particularly attractive but it’s human nonetheless.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. Selfish and immature? I don't think so, not at all. You cared for him and it smarts to read it publicly like that. Honestly speaking, if he knew you would see it, I don't think that was very nice of him to do what he did so publicly without even considering your feelings. I don't think that's right. So, that shows a part of his true character right there. Now, of course I'm curious who and where?
