Rabbit toenails? Ick! I love most meats and wouldn't give 'em up for nuttin'. I respect your choice, too.

Quite the conundrum – vegetarian craving pork. And oh that “order the special of the day” thing…. I fell into that trap in Portugal a couple of times. Mostly it was pork but I swear in one of the dishes I saw hair still on the skin. I never ordered the special again.

Wonderfully funny post Trisha and let me take this opportunity to say
"Welcome to Blogit!" I am what you call a lacto-vegetarian....I eat dairy. On occassion I will eat fish, chicken or turkey but I mostly eat veggies and soy protein. I have not eaten red meat in over twenty years. I'm an animals rights activist and that is part of the reason but the other part is with all the additives, hormones, antibiotics, and pesticides that are in our beef and pork. And now with all the recalls, I'm thankful I don't eat red meat!

You were making me hungry until you mentioned the foot...That's enough to make me want to puke.

after those experiences with "flesh"
I'm surprised you can even
think about eating meat. Yuck esp. to the rabbit foot, I'd probably barf right there in the restaurant. Poor little Thumper.
