Hi Dark Mistress - well, to be honest, that's how I feel when we get to the
half way point of the year and it starts to get darker again, although it's still not too bad, admittedly, until late October, when it gets really dark. So the poem reflects that! Thanks though for your comment!

Yes, Mary, that's right, we're approaching the half way point.
Soon it'll start to get dark again - eek. That's good of your brother - it'll be a nice get-together, even if brief. Are you going to go somewhere else when he takes over?

The first half of this poem was absolutely beautiful....
the second half was sort of deflating because they all have to return to work. But that's life isn't it? Well written

Are you saying that today is 6 months into the year? Smarty-Pants. Yes, I agree, lovers should be kissing now and I'l be kissing my favourite boy the third week of June! Hee hee. My brother is flying in to look after Momma and give me a little break.

Hi Tony
Yes, the sun brings with it Life, Energy, Work, Wakefulness, Awareness. Night does the opposite, but both are complimentary to each other, and the beauty is that niether, despite being complete unto themselves, are really not full without the otrher.

Tony-you're right--it is magical when the sun is out--and life is then like
a fairy tale! Lovely-lovely poem! Chris.
