I love the references to older works, and I'm sensing a change in tone in some of the recent sonnets - a touch Shakespearean...

Every time I read you Tony, I marvel at the simplicity with which you
talk about things profound. I love to 'climb' after a fall, and not just 'get up'. This is how you have jumped to climb to my delight.

Hi Wiley - wow, I'm really pleased you can see bits of yourself in this.
I suppose it just goes to show the similarity between different people, doesn't it? This is an inspiration to me to carry on trying to be honest and look into how I feel about things.

Now sometimes I have to struggle with sonnets, poetry etc, where most grasp thoughts so readily.
Now in my insanity, I felt an empty church, nobody passing there anymore, and you kind of wondering if you were doing the right thing, should you keep on going or not.
Yes, wierd I am, but you get the truth of what I read, and see and feel. You make me feel things, perhaps I am seeing me in your writing of yourself.

Troosha, that is completely correct. There may be indecision there but
whatever the cause, the effect is inaction when there should be action.

That's right, Chris, it is about inaction on my part which must stem from
indecision. After all, I i had made a decision either to act or not to act, I wouldn't have a problem, I'd act or I wouldn't act. But this situation is rather like wanting to act but refusing to act. By 'act' I really mean pushing myself forward more than i do. Thanks for your good reading of the poem - it's good to know the message has got across.

Ha ha - thanks, Mary, I'm not sad today at all, this is just a long-term
moan about my own laziness really in getting anything actually achieved! The death comment was sposed to cheer up the older readers LOL!! My chin is very up, I can assure you, and I hope yours is too!

Unlike some of the others, I didn’t read indecisiveness into this. Rather, I read a bit of frustration with your self for having a laissez faire approach at times, leaving things undone, or not “climbing” more. Either way – it’s an excellent sonnet.

Good writing Tony--however-why waite another year? Who knows what's
around the corner? Decisions-decisions-decisions! It seems like you may have difficulty making a comitment-towards a decision-which is on behalf of yourself! (Now I'm undecided as to whether or not-post my response!!!)HA HA>Chris.

I wish I could empathize with your indecisiveness, but I've always been a great decision-maker. Well, not always, but sometimes. And maybe I'm not great, but definitely good - well, not definitely, but...

Tony - Did you receive another rejection in the post?
No wonder your thoughts on death in my blog! lol Wow, this is an interesting piece on indecision, being caught in the middle and sadness. Hmmm, now where did I hear this before?

Well done, but I can't help myself here, I'm a Momma, 'chin up, 'ole boy!'
