Rob
Some people are old farts when they are very young, others stay young in heart and appearance. You look and sound like you fall into the second category - enjoy! Will look for that author and book - cheers!

Forty.
I turned that 17 years ago and my son was born that year. So, do you want to look and haggard like the people you know? Just be as you are all will be well. Sound like you had a good year and while you didnt change your life career, you connected (as you say) with somany other things. Well done! And welcome to the 40s.

Lol Rob...Would it help if I told you you don't even look as if you're about to turn forty? Well, you don't, Peachy.
BTW...I remember when your birthday is...So don't think I'm letting you off the hook that easily!!!
I hope whatever you choose to do for your big day, it's your happiest one yet. As for the career change...No worries...there's still plenty of time for that.
The book you're reading sounds fantastic. I agree with you, I can't imagine you ever having lived only in part of Oz. You definitely don't seem that type of fellow to me.
Nice to see you again...
