Do bloggers believe in the affinity of race colour or language ?

Recall the tale of the four blind men trying to describe an elephant to one another.  None could agree on its composition or shape, and they argued quite angrily because of individual interpretations.  They argued over a blind illusion.  Are we any different?  Can we be any different? Do we truly see, or do we trick ourselves into thinking so?  We have a wealth of illusions confronting us every day -- Language.  Colour.  Religion.   None can exist without our permission, so we make illusion into reality and give it a  name for many reasons, mostly completelly selfish ones that provide hints, if not promises, of some form of gratification to please the emotions.

People lie, steal, cheat, kill just for the possibility of identifying or having "affinity" with their chosen totem.

You have posed a dangerous question, my friend, one that many may fear to probe beyond the immediate.  joab

Afzal

In many ways, I have to agree with you...that race and color often make a difference in getting somewhere in this world...as well as other outer appearances....such as age, weight, height, etc.

Sad, but true.
