We each have our "Beloved". You, being who you are, and what you are, will possibly grasp the words. Rumi and Hafiz are my literary acquaintences who travel with me on this journey of journeys to where the oasis is fragrant and the trees are replete with the fruit that heals the soul. j

MY BELOVED
Because this world is too small
to contain my Beloved, it Carries
me to its own Level, to a Secure
and Secret place where It awaits,
prepared to protect and instruct.
May I always be able to reach Inward
and hear my Beloved's soft Whispers in
those quiet moments between breaths.
