desire to worship
First, like the simple structure, the set of queries, the subjects chosen worthy of contemplation. As usual, wish I could see it in front of me whilst replying but:

don't agree with love being 'desire to worship'. I think this is a theistic approach and also a religious one. On the other hand, I also agree in that love is a sort of worship of 'other' and 'worship' can mean many different things but bottom line is some sort of cherishing, appreciation, delight in, drowning in etc. the other principle. If worship means bowing down to and serving, there are also good and bad ways I would agree and disagree. Not that it matters whether a reader agrees or disagrees, but hey: this is the comment section, right?

Success I like. There could be other ways of defining it in less derogatory fashion. Success could be enjoying love, illumination and prayer and more than enjoying, living in a state which is a continuous form of illumination, prayer and love. Also, it seems to me that illumination should come after. And perhaps success should be first in the negative way you have described it, then prayer, then love, then illumination, which is fruition. But maybe it's best just the way it is!

My two cents....

and thanks for the offering
