Afzal,
I found your entry quite interesting. From an atheistic perspective, I would assert that God appears indifferent and silent because in all likelihood He is a human construction that does not exist.
That is the only question to which my little brain can construct a decent response, although this assertion is certainly up for debate as well.
And now, I would like to pose two questions to you and to all who may wish to answer:
Why is it not enough to simply praise humanity for its potential to do great things, in spite of all it has not done or undone? And if one does in fact need to praise God, which of the countless supernatural constructions should I choose?

Answering these questions is the relationship between God and His Children. When we seek him wholeheartedly We leave behind, jealousy, hatred, and we can never serve God and be cruel to the poor, hungry or imprisoned, His spirit is with us all the time not after separation and it brings joy, to worship Him properly we must leave our crafty and crooked ways. Answering all these answers is as I said before the bulk of the relationship between Us and God. He speaks to His children on a constant basis. What do you think?
